We can walk dogs from other areas, if available, but charges apply.

 

Will my dog be walking with other well behaved dogs?

Yes, is the short answer. It is Doggies style policy that;

We walk well behaved dogs. We do not walk bitches in season nor dogs with aggressive tendencies or any registered under the Dangerous Dogs Act. We also do not accept dogs that bark or howl excessively or pull excessively on a lead.

How do I book a service?

First register your dog by hitting the Enrolment button.

We will then contact you and arrange a initial meet at your home

Can I meet the walker beforehand?

Absolutely yes. Gill will always have a full consultation and meet your beloved pet beforehand. This is to ensure suitability of all parties.

What if I want to cancel?

We understand circumstances can change and you may need to cancel. Please inform Gill by phone [07881 822616] before 18:00 the day before to cancel or amend a booking.

If you cancel a walk after 18:00 the previous day you will be charged 50% of the service cost.

​

If you cancel on the day a service is booked or if your dog is booked in and we come to your house to pick them up and they are not there or we are unable to get in your house for whatever reason, you will be charged in full.

How is billing and payment handled?

Please pay on the Friday of each week.

​

Cash: Please place cash in a sealed envelope with your pet's name and dates walked.

Are you available evenings, weekends and bank holidays?

Our working hours are Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 16:00 throughout the year.

​We do not work on Bank Holidays or weekends.

There may be a few dates that we cannot work, these will be emailed to you along with your invoice.

Do we have to give you a set of keys to our home?

We prefer to use a secure key box, however if you do not like the thought of a key box, please provide us with 1 set of keys to keep.
Under no circumstances will we ever label your key with your address, or have your secret code saved with your address.

Do you take photos of our pets?

Yes, we try and take photos and videos of our daily adventures. These photos and videos may be used on our social media &/ or website.  If you do not want us using photos of your pets, please let us know when booking.

Will my dog be walked by the same person each day?

Yes. We recognise the importance of a familiarity for your pooch.

Will my dog always be on a lead?

Doggie Style Dog Walker will only exercise your dog off their lead where you have authorised us to do so.
